Raven Covert Reporting System
RAVEN Covert Reporting System has been designed
to provide operators with a very simple but effective
method of remotely monitoring events or intrusion.
The Raven System is aimed at Police/Security Services
and the Military end users in such roles as close
support, VIP security, undercover operations,
anti-narcotics operations, etc. The system comprises
a series of sensors which possess Light, Motion,
and Contact Break Detectors. When alarmed, a signal
is automatically transmitted from the sensor to
a remotely Base station via a UHF radio link.
From the Base station, alarm signals are automatically
re-transmitted over a VHF link to monitors which
are supplied as commercial pager, which indicate
Date, Time, Sensor ident and type of alarm. Two
types of sensors are currently available. The
standard and credit card.
The Standard Sensor is a high power remotely controllabledevice
and is ideal for deployment in fixed sites or
vehicles. The Credit Card Sensor, due to its small
size s ideal as a body worn sensor for VIP and
close security applications. Totally covert variants
are available which are housed in wallets, etc.
The total system can be configured prior to an
operation using a standard PC running the Raven
Configuration Package (Ravcon) with Base Station.
Remote sensors are monitored by the base station
which receives periodic confidence signals and
automatically transmits them to the operator to
ensure system integrity. An On Frequency Repeater
is also available. which considerably extends
the range of remote sensors from the Base Station.
The Raven Covert Reporting System therefore offers
considerable flexibility to operations in the
most demanding of remote surveillance and monitoring
applications. |
